Allan King is Managing Director of Infront Systems, Canberra’s leading systems integrator specialising in data storage and data management solutions. Allan started Infront in October 1998. Since then, Allan’s leadership and passion have become hallmarks of his tenure at the company.

During the past 12 years, Allan has driven the strategic direction of the company that saw early success in the emerging markets of storage, virtualisation and enterprise archive. Today Infront employees 25 staff with an annual turnover of 20 million dollars.

Together with the company’s other business and technical leaders, Allan is focused on continuing Infront’s innovation and leadership in the areas of unified computing, systems integration and IT support.

Allan was born in February 1972, and grew up in Canberra, where his father worked as a Australian Federal Police officer for 24 years. While growing up, Allan rowed for the Australian Institute of Sport, represented Australia in Indoor Soccer and New South Wales in Athletics. After University, he worked for six years for the Federal Treasury as the Network Manager before founding Infront.

Paul has worked in the IT industry since 1978 and co-founded Infront with Allan in 1998. As Infront’s Principal Systems Engineer, Paul’s experience in many disciplines has accelerated Infront’s success.

With a technical background, Paul’s breadth of expertise has been applied to selecting and testing products and solutions for Infront and our clients. In the 90s this included a number of Microsoft beta testing programs. Paul’s experience in this field has greatly influenced Infront’s staffing and training directions over the years.

As Principal Systems Engineer, Paul provides a technical leadership and mentoring role within Infront. This however has not precluded Paul from being involved in many workstation and server rollouts over these years.

Paul was born in the Netherlands, moved to Australia with his parents in 1960 and has lived in Canberra since 1961. In his spare time he likes to enjoy time with family and friends and go motorcycling. Before co-founding Infront, Paul had a number of IT roles in the mainframe, PC and Microsoft arena.
